1) Eating the right amount of carbohydrates is important

2) Type two diabetes is typically caused by many contributing factors and not just from a poor diet.

3) Diabetes is different for each person and progresses over time. It takes regular monitoring and self-care to manage effectively.

4) Fruit is a form of carbohydrate and knowing how much is right for you is important to help control blood glucoses.

5) For many people, especially those with years of having diabetes can feel 'normal' even when blood glucoses are elevated. Elevated blood glucoses raise the risk of complications.
